Privacy Policy

Effective September 19, 2026 · Kickball Live is operated by Holy City Tech ("we", "us").

Kickball Live helps recreational kickball leagues run their seasons: teams, schedules, rosters, game-day attendance, scores and stats. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Kickball Live website and the Kickball Live iOS and Android apps.

Your phone number and text messages. If you choose to sign in with your mobile number, we use it only to send you a one-time verification code by SMS so you can sign in, and to recognise your account afterwards. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in/consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency depends on how often you sign in (one message per sign-in request). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time (you can still sign in by email), or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Information we collect

Account and sign-in details — the email address and/or mobile number you sign in with, and the one-time codes used to verify them.
Profile information you provide — name, gender (used for co-ed lineup rules), birthday, preferred position, optional profile photo, and optional contact email/phone for your teammates and captain.
League activity — the teams you join, invitations, game attendance (yes/no), lineups, game scores, playing statistics, payment status recorded by your captain or league (paid / not paid — we do not process or store payment card details), images or captions sent as team memes, and in-app notifications.
Device information — a push-notification token if you allow notifications, and standard technical logs (IP address, device/browser type, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.

How we use information

To create and secure your account and sign you in with one-time codes.
To run league features: rosters, schedules, attendance, lineups, scores, standings and stats.
To send service notifications you would expect — for example a team invitation, a captain's request to confirm attendance, or a final score — inside the app and, if you allow them, as push notifications.
To keep the service safe, prevent abuse, fix problems and improve the product.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

Who can see your information

Your team, captains, league administrators and referees can see the roster information needed to run games — such as your name, photo, position, attendance, stats, paid status and the contact details you choose to share.
The public can see league standings, team names, schedules and scores.
Service providers that host and operate the service on our behalf — Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, file storage, sign-in, email and SMS delivery of verification codes) and Expo (push-notification delivery). They may process information only to provide their services to us.
Legal and safety — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the service. If the service is ever transferred to another operator, your information would move under the same commitments.

Retention

We keep account and league records while your account is active and for as long as the league needs its season history. One-time codes expire within minutes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see below); we remove or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for legal or security reasons. Historical game results may remain with your name removed.

Your choices

View and update your profile, photo and contact details in the app at any time.
Turn push notifications off in your device settings.
Opt out of text messages by replying STOP; sign in by email instead.
Request a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing etcherconsulting@gmail.com.

Children

Kickball Live is intended for adult recreational leagues and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, passwordless sign-in with short-lived codes, and access controls based on your role. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and notify you in the app if the changes are significant.
